With the imminent changes to the Feed-in-Tariff about to take effect from early 2016, demand on our EPSyS™ system studies division has doubled in recent months keeping our power systems engineers extremely busy.
EPSyS™ continues to grow delivering studies and reports for a wide range of clients including grid connection studies, load flow, P28 voltage fluctuation and G5/4 harmonic studies.
We’ve been especially busy with P28 studies to predetermine levels of voltage drop following the energisation of power and distribution transformers to be connected to the grid. Using the latest power systems software to perform calculations in the time domain, P28 voltage fluctuation studies accurately model the proposed system under all possible operating conditions to help identify (non-)compliance with Engineering Council recommendations.
Demand grows for EPSyS™ power system studies
